The Story of Atelier La Sylle
Welcome to my world
I'm Céline
If you've made it this far, it's probably because one of my creations caught your eye. So thank you, and welcome to Atelier La Sylle.
The workshop was born on 26 November 2025, in La Ville du Bois, with one simple wish: to bring colour back into everyday life.
Before working with wood, I was a systems and network engineer. A profession where everything is logical, structured and precise. I loved that rigour, but deep down a need was growing in me to create, to imagine and to make objects that tell a story.
So I chose to follow that little voice telling me it was time to build a world that reflects who I am.
A world where wood meets colour, where simplicity becomes elegant, where the useful blends with the beautiful.
I firmly believe that an object can do far more than serve a function: it can bring joy, raise a smile, recall a memory or simply brighten a day.
Two worlds, one and the same passion
I'm also a biker, in love with freedom, and mum to two little mischievous and sneaky beings! My greatest inspirations come from my role as a mum. These two worlds, so different and yet so complementary, shape each of my creations. In them you'll find a little adventure, plenty of gentleness, a touch of whimsy and always that desire to create practical, durable objects full of personality.
Each piece is unique
Each piece is designed, drawn, cut, sanded, assembled and finished with care in my workshop. As wood is a living material, no creation is exactly like another. That is what makes them so authentic.
Through Atelier La Sylle, I want to offer creations that stand out from the ordinary. Colourful, warm objects made with passion, that naturally find their place in your home or make a gift for those who matter.
Deep down, Atelier La Sylle is a bit of a blend of everything that defines me: the precision of my former profession, the creativity I wanted to express, the freedom that biking inspires in me, the tenderness of family life and the love of a job well done.
If my creations make you smile, then I have succeeded in what I set out to build.
Thank you for being part of this adventure.
See you very soon,
Céline
